WOW !! What's going on with Central ???..... They played well @ the start of the year and then losses 9 with this one ??? Sounds like they played good in this game ....

Lost 3 sophmores. All three were standout players in the 6th region. They got kicked off the team for unspecified reasons. Since then the team has struggled majorly.

Everyone is back now except for Lee McGee who was sent to a boarding school. Bunton and Skeens played last night. Also Ridge Wilson is back and playing. He was not on the team at the start of the year.

That certainly helps explain it. Central has a good collection of young talent, but too often plays like a young team ... bad shot selection and questionable decisions.

 

Doss, on the other hand, shows some of the same traits with a veteran team. :lol:

McGee was by far the best Soph. in the city. I didnt know Central got the other 2 players back. Thats good to hear.

 

Doss on the other hand in my prediction will NOT win the 6th region now because Coach Mabrey and PRP are on a roll and will find a way to beat Doss in the regional. Too smart of a coaching staff at PRP and not enough experience as a coaching staff at Doss to win the region.

PRP needs to get Benson healthy if they want to win the 6th. He had a nasty dislocated Toe in the Butler game and they lost. He did not play vs Holy Cross and PRP struggled.

He shuould be back in time for regionals is what I'm hearing.

This is by far an off the mark statement. "McGee was by far the best Soph. in the city."
