Highlands 28 Beechwood 24 (JV)

I was told it was a close game where each team scored near the end to lead.

Beechwood was down 21-18 with about 5:15 left in the game, had the ball on their own 1 yard line and completed a 99 yard TD pass to go up 24-21, PAT was blocked. Highlands got the ball back with about 5 mins left, and Beechwood had them 4th and 6 on about the Beechwood 40 yard line. Highlands completed a long pass down the seam to the TE down to the one yard line, then scored on the next play of the game to take the 28-24 lead. Beechwood had one last shot at it, but fumbled the ball around mid field and Highlands recovered and was able to run out the clock from that point on. 
 

It was a great JV game between 2 great programs, and this was the 4th straight year these 2 have played a great JV game down to the wire.
