Lexington Christian is coming off a bye week after their 28-21 win over Lexington Catholic on September 19th, while DuBois played last week and picked up a convincing 40-13 district victory on the road against Washington County. This Class 2A District 4 matchup kicks off district play for LCA, who sit at 0-0 in the district so far. DuBois is already 1-0 after that Washington County win. Both teams have had up-and-down seasons, with LCA facing a tougher non-district slate including close losses to Boyle County (21-28) and Franklin County (27-28), plus a blowout to CAL (7-47). DuBois has alternated wins and losses, with notable W's over Waggener (44-6), Western (44-6), and Washington County.
