Ashland stumbled but did not fall against Greenup County at home this past Friday. The 4-2 Tomcats now host Rowan County. The 1-4 Vikings have let up 20 or more points in all of their losses and don't look to have a readily available solution for slowing down Cam Davis. Ashland, on the other hand, has to find a way to hold on to the football if they truly want to be dangerous as this season ages.

This was a 55-7 Ashland blowout victory last year. I don't know if it will be that brutal, but no reason to think Rowan is too competitive in the late stages of this one.

Ashland names the score. Rowan is still searching for a competitive recipe it can replicate year to year. I don't see another win for the Vikings till next season, at least.
