? | Boyd County came back strong from the 31 point loss to Ashland in the district finals to thrash Fleming County by 30 in the region quarters. They'll now turn their attention to a Russell team that's been up and down all season, but found itself with a favorable draw in the quarterfinals. 

When they met in February, the Lions and Devils waged a competitive battle in the first half before Boyd shifted into a gear Russell couldn't match. Jackson Childers posed problems on the interior, scoring a season high 23.

Boyd County is one win away from what is likely another crack at Ashland. They only need not overlook a capable Russell squad.
