🗞 | When the Tomcats and Vikings get together, It's hard not to think back to their classic region title game in 2021. Ashland rallied from a double digit hole in the 4Q to take a late lead before Mason Moore nailed a contested, off-balance corner three to force overtime. 

The Tomcats ultimately outlasted the Vikings to capture their third straight region crown. They're looking for #7 this season, but have to clear Rowan County to earn a spot in tomorrow's championship game. 

Rowan's Moore was the 16th's player of the year in 2021. Ashland has this year's recipient, Zander Carter, but the Tomcats are far from a one man show. Any one of about five supporting players are capable of getting hot and netting 20 or more.

The Vikings have been devoid of a standout star this season, instead taking a commitee approach to their offensive distribution. No one averages in double figures and they've only had six games this season where someone reached 20.

They're facing an uphill battle tonight against an Ashland team that's as complete in all phases as anyone Rowan has seen this year. The Tomcats do it all, and do it well. And they're peaking at the most opportune time.
