Monumental win for the Lady Cats. They've had a solid program for a while, but wins over the upper tier of the region don't come often for Menifee. They'll get a chance at another one in the region semis against Russell on Friday.

Boyd County fails to reach the region semifinal round for the first time since 2014.

Beating Russell is definitely on the table, but I'm drawing my line there. Ashland appears to be on another level this season.
