Monumental win for the Lady Cats. They've had a solid program for a while, but wins over the upper tier of the region don't come often for Menifee. They'll get a chance at another one in the region semis against Russell on Friday.

Boyd County fails to reach the region semifinal round for the first time since 2014.

As far as they can remember, only the second regional tournament win in history for Menifee. They have a real shot at possibly winning the title.

The 16th's leading rebounder (13.4 per game) lived up to her billing last night.

Beating Russell is definitely on the table, but I'm drawing my line there. Ashland appears to be on another level this season.
