Final from Falmouth

The Bluejackets go on a mid-3rd quarter tear and build a lead they would never relinquish.   Pendleton made a strong run to get it to a 1-possession game, but never could get over the hump.   The Wildcats started strong on the glass and held their own against the state’s leading rebounding team, but Nicholas’ size proved to be too much in the end. Maddox Donovan led a quartet of Bluejackets in double figures with 19.  Kam O’Hara led Pendleton with 18.

Pendleton (2-2 District) have 2 seeding games next week (Harrison, Robertson).  If they win both, there’s a 3 way tie at the top, which goes to RPI.

Both teams are back in action today, with Nicholas County facing Rowan County at home, while Pendleton travels to take on Campbell County in the Historic Hoosier Gym.

Love to hear from Wildcat fans if there are many similarities to the Panther Den in Augusta.  Perhaps a post on the thread sure to come with the game results?
