DevilMayCare Posted December 27, 2024 Posted December 27, 2024 It was all Warriors from the start, leading by 11 after one quarter and 22 at halftime.
QueenoftheSouth Posted December 28, 2024 Posted December 28, 2024 DCA looked good yesterday. Their new coach seems to be using their bigs more and their supporting players seem to understand their roles. And that zone looked very good and will present big problems for 12th region teams. On the flip side, I expected more out of Russell. Looks like they have Fleming today. If they were in the 12th, they’d be a top 5 level team IMO. I expect a double digit win by DCA on their way to playing a legit top 20 team in the next round.
24Rocks Posted December 28, 2024 Posted December 28, 2024 When Coach Busick plays his first 5 or 6 players DCA's zone is extremely hard to score on. He's been subbing 2 or 3 players at a time which IMHO is smart at this time of the season. He's trying to get them some experience and it should pay off down the line. The downside is that the defense isn't quite as good but it looks like he's thinking long term which is a good thing.

Those are vehy inexperienced guys that need developing and this is the time to do it.

Buddy Biggs is a top notch game plan coach. He'll have his kids ready and a strategy to make it happen. In my opinion this game is a toss up.

He does a nice job and they’re definitely a team that isn’t going to beat themselves. They’ll have to shoot extremely well to beat DCA.
24Rocks Posted December 28, 2024 Posted December 28, 2024 It will be a contrast in strengths. I watched Fleming against Highlands and their defense isn’t as good as their offense. DCA has an extremely good defense but can struggle on offense at times. It could be interesting.
