January 29, 200719 yr Everyone is quick to judge not knowing how he was brought up...But when he is catching TD's he's this great receiver...lol Jerome Bettis was raised in a bad area of Detroit. I never heard of him getting arrested? I know a lot of players out there were raised in a bad environment, but the ones who choose not to grow up should not be in the NFL. Henry was a problem at WVU and now he is a problem in Cincy. Feel bad for him if you want, but he is a cancer in my eyes... He was not force into his crimes, he choose to do them. :flame:
January 30, 200719 yr Author The thing I feel was out of line, was the whole football part of it, claiming he was the single reason the Bengals weren't still playing and that he will forever go down in history as the reason the Bengals weren't playing in the Super Bowl. If you want to use your position as judge to council the young man about life and how to turn your life around, that's one thing. To try to council him on football, which I would venture he knows very little about, and try to blame him for the Bengals disappointing season was crossing the line IMO. He knew he had a camera in front of him and he tried to take advantage of it.
