Anyone know of anything on the team Hazard played in this one.

I love history of football in general from all our schools across the state.

Pleasureville is a about 2-1/2 miles east of Eminence, on the south end of Henry County. Didn't know there was ever a high school (although it's not entirely surprising considering how many little burgs did have schools at one time). Looks like the high school was part of a K-12...about 20 students per grade level in the high school. I'm assuming Pleasureville High School consolidated into Henry County High School whenever Henry County High School opened.

Sports teams played as the Bulldogs, which was a pretty popular mascot name in the early era of high schools picking mascots...Hazard, Holmes, Plasureville, Male, Fairdale, Burgin, et. al. And like the Male Bulldogs, the Pleasureville Bulldogs' colors were also purple and gold. The Hazard versus Pleasureville game would have been was a Battle of the Bulldogs.

Pleasureville's 1930 record was 4-3-1:

Hazard 49 Pleasureville 0
Eminence 8 Pleasureville 0
Anchorage 38 Pleasureville 0
Pleasureville 0 Carrolton 0
Pleasureville 7 Shelbyville 0
Pleasureville 45 Campbellsburg 0
Pleasureville 6 Fern Creek 0
Pleasureville 20 New Castle 6

Here's the (brief) article covering the game from the Louisville Courier-Journal, and it looks like the Henry County Local was even less interested in giving much attention to a high school football game.
