? | There was an excellent chance that Fleming County would see Ashland or Boyd County again after defeating the region stalwarts in February. The Tomcats are first up, and could very well be last up. If both play to their potential, this is the better of the two semifinals. Hargett, Hickerson, and Jolly played at a high level against Morgan County and everything was clicking for the Tomcats in a quarterfinal rout of Greenup County. Defense won the day for the Panthers when the two met before, as the Tomcats were held to a season low 48 points in Flemingsburg. Zander Carter was limited to nearly half his scoring average on 36% from the field. If depth becomes a factor, edge to Ashland, as Fleming County doesn't offer much beyond the starting line-up.
