Highlands took down Campbell County in double overtime to advance to Monday night's finals, and Cov Cath beat Simon Kenton to advance to the finals of the Jack Kaelin NKY Freshman Invitational Tournament. The Birds return to the tournament finals after a three year absence. The Birds and the Colonels faced off in the 2020 finals, with the Colonels coming away with a 10-point win.

The two freddy squads have faced off once previously this season, with the Colonels coming away with a 51-44 win at Highlands on January 12th.

This game will take place on Monday night at Covington Catholic, immediately after the Highlands vs. Cov Cath finals in the JV tournament. JV game tips off at 6:00pm, and the freshman finals tip at 7:30.
