Per the article, Coach Vessels spent 12 years as an assistant coach at Edmonson County prior to heading to Barren County as an assistant coach 3 years ago.

Sounds like a smart hire at Edmonson County - someone who's familiar and willing to invest in the community. Congratulations and good luck to Coach Vessels and the Wildcats!

Coach Vessels went to Greenwood in 2016 and worked under Chris Seabolt, then to Glasgow with Jeff Garmon, before taking the OC job at Barren County.
