East Carter was led by Drew Johnson and Van Allen Burge with 15 points each. After a close first half, East had a huge second half shooting 67% from the field and out rebounding Morgan 19-5. Nice game from Ryan Sagraves as well. East held Haney to 11 points (only 4 in the second half).

Good defense and execution from the Raiders. Morgan is very limited offensively. If you take away Haney they will have a very hard time scoring against anyone. Morgan also had a tough time handling the full court pressure. East improves to 8-8 on the season.

Big District win for the Raiders tonight. They executed well in the second half. Good effort by Morgan and Congrats to the Raiders, a well deserved win!

This was a definitely a big district win because of the seeding. East has now split with Elliott, beat Morgan twice, and beat West in their only meeting so far. That puts East at 4-1 in district play and pretty much locks up not worse than a 2 seed, with the possibility of a 1 seed still there.

If East and Elliott finish with the same district record, Elliott would be the 1 and East the 2.

What is the tie-breaker in that situation?

Point differential in head to head games, I think.
