FS has won this year largely due to their quick, aggressive defense forcing turnovers and with a little more balanced than usual offensive attack. Greenwood gave FS a dose of their own medicine tonight. The Wildcats fumbled away two first half possessions to trail 14-0 at the half. They got an interception and outscored the Gators in the second half and had two chances to tie or take the lead in the fourth quarter but Greenwood held them off. TelTel Long had some big plays for the Gators as expected. I figured all season this would probably be a loss but it was a much closer game than I thought it could have been. On to the big 3A District 2 championship game next week at home for FS against undefeated Hart County.
