Both teams are currently ranked in the Top 25 nationally: Notre Dame - 11th; Assumption 13th.

This is the third time this season the two have faced off, each winning one apiece earlier: 

9/9 LIVT in Louisville; Assumption W 2-1 (25-14, 21-25, 25-16)

9/30 Asics Challenge in Chicago; Nature Dame W 2-1 (24-26, 25-15, 29-27)

If Regionals go to chalk, these two could meet again in this year's state finals for the eighth time.
