We are less than 30 days away from the beginning of the 2007 practice season and a little over 60 days from the start of the regular season. What Louisville team has the best talent for the coming season? Who is your pre-season pick to win each district?

For those not up to speed on who is in which region, here is the KHSAA breakdown for district 6 and 7.

Region 6, Dist 21 - Beth Haven, Holy Cross (Lou.), PRP, Valley, Western

Region 6, Dist 22 - DeSales, Doss, Evangel Christian, Iroquois

Region 6, Dist 23 - Butler, Central, Portland Christian

Region 6, Dist 24 - Bullitt Central, Bullitt East, Fairdale, North Bullitt, Southern

Region 7, Dist 25 - Manual, Lou. Collegiate, Male, St. X

Region 7, Dist 26 - Atherton, Fern Creek, Moore, Whitefield Academy

Region 7, Dist 27 - Ballard, Seneca, Trinity (Lou.), Waggener

Region 7, Dist 28 - Christian Academy-Lou., Eastern, Jeffersontown, KCD

You picked the easy obvious for the champs of the 6th and 7th. PRP is always strong in the 6th Region and Ballard has enjoyed good success in the 7th.

However, the St. X Tigers are going to be a force to be dealt with this year. Their current junior class went 21 and 0 there freshman year and 23 and 4 last year as JV's. The 4 games they lost as JV's they only lost by a combined 12 runs. This combined with 9 returning seniors who went to the final 4 last year, things look pretty promising over in Tiger town.

GO TIGERS!
