Isaac Wilson, Madison Johnson and Aaron Manns were not playing with the Corbin freshman team today (I guess because they all play important roles on the varsity).

 

They may have the best group of freshman in the region with them.

 

Cumberland's freshmen have improved quite a bit. Kyle Hogue is a good player, and Tyrek Simmons has a lot of potential. The big center, Scott Sepe, hurt Cawood at times inside and Blayne Rutherford hit at least three 3-pointers.

 

Cawood's freshmen are pretty solid with Brandon McCoun, T.J. Green, Michael Moses and Larry Williamson among others. Cawood is 5-2 with losses to Clay and Bell.

Corbin and Harlan County oughta be kind of interesting in say 3 years.Saying everyone keeps improving.Cumberland has potential.I've seen this group since they started in the 5th grade and have finished with 3-Harlan County runner-ups.Cumberland could be even better if another shooter and athletic off-guard Kent Langham hadn't moved to Alabama with his parents due to retiring.His dad and brother are tall so he should end up around 6'4 or 6'5.Seen him about a month ago and he had sot up about 3 inches over the summer and fall.Cawood is pretty much your Harlan County All-Star team minus Evarts,Black Mountain,Cumberland,and Harlan.A lot of size too.

I think Knox Central is hosting a freshman tournament in a few weeks.Does anyone know who might be in that one?
