Southwestern @ Somerset

Southwestern makes the trip across town to the Briar Patch on Saturday night to face the Briar Jumpers. Last time these two teams faced off, SW came away with a 1 point victory in the last seconds of the game. This should be another very good game @ Somerset, tip-off is set for 7:30...Anyone with some predictions or thoughts?

My prediction is that Somerset comes away with a 4 point victory at home.

I'll take Somerset too. Tonight S'western hosts McCreary and it should be a great game too, and it will tough for them to play good two nights in a row, in my opinion.

Cant argue that point, it will be hard for them to get up two nights in a row. The McCreary Co. Game is the one that really matters to SW. I Know that is the game they have focused on this week in practice.

 

The Somerset game is just for bragging rights. THese two teams will get after it though, and SW is playing alot better than the last time these two met up.But in the past SW has not shot well in the "Tucker Dome". Somerset will want revenge from that devastating 1 point loss earlier in the season, and the jumpers have been rolling of late.

Somerset's turnovers have been decreasing and their shooting and defense has improved. Southwestern will try to create a lot of turnovers it depends on how well Somerset handles their press and how the game is called. Somerset has been know for getting large leads then losing them. They have won their last 4 games and are steadily improving. If they can maintain focus and not get careless with the ball they should win in a tough game by 10.
