Happy New Year everyone, The holidays are over and we are in the grind of the season now as teams will start opening up district play. We have some big district matchups in the 57th this week which should set the pecking order early. Not only that we Start the All "A" and the 2A tournaments soon so we will be at for the next few weeks.
 

1.  Martin County (9-2) The Cardinals comes into the week on a 7 game win streak and finished last week with a win over the #3 and #4 teams in class A in West Virginia. The Cardinals open up district play this week and play Johnson Central, Paintsville, And Magoffin County
2. Pikeville (7-3) Pikeville ended the year going 2-1 in Tennessee at the Smoky Mountain Christmas Classic. They have 1 game Scheduled this week and it is at Ashland Paul Blazer.
3. Pike Central (8-4) Central spent the last week of the season in Belfry at the historic School Boy Classic tournament where they went 1-1 with a win over Breathitt County. They open up play in the 2A Classic this week.
4. Betsy Layne (9-4) Betsy Layne also spent the last week of the year at Belfry where they went 2-1. They have matchups scheduled with Cordia and Bath County this week.
5. Floyd Central (8-4) The Jaguars went 2-1 at the School Boy Classic last week, they are scheduled to play in the 2A Classic this week.

7. Prestonsburg
8. Magoffin County
9. Shelby Valley
10. East Ridge
11. Johnson Central
12. Paintsville
