Final at the WYMT Mountain Classic.

Good showing by Leslie just couldn't pull off the upset. Leslie shot just over 50% on free throws.

Leslie will play Pikeville Thursday night at 8:15pm

Bell plays Perry Central Friday night at 8:45pm

Nice win for Bell in the WYMT Classic. Im not sure what Perry Central has. I do know that Bell seems to have lucked out by playing on the opposite side of the bracket from June Buchanan, Hazard, and Shelby Valley.

I think it will be Bell and Hazard in the finals. Putting former Bell assistant coach Morris up against Bell and Coach Whitaker.

Have to disagree, but that will be a great consolation game on saturday before JBS and Perry play in the finals. Morris should beat his former team for 3rd place, not 1st. JBS has to much for the rest of the teams in the tourney, will pick them by 6 over Hazard and 9 over Perry! But Perry will still shoot 35+ freethrows.

Did the big guy play for Bell in this game or is he gone to Auburn already?

How did Whitker play are any college's looking at him?

He did not play.

I was surprised that Bell had that much trouble with Leslie. If they play like that against Perry they will be in trouble. Did the big kid that left hurt them that much?

Isn't Bell the #2 team in the Mountain Top 10 ???

I really dont know much about the 3 teams. I think Bell would have a great chance of winning if they had Slusher. Without Slusher it will be tougher. I hadnt heard much about Perry Central.

As for Hazard they have a great coach! And theyve also beat Madison Central and LaFayette. They are both good 11th region teams.

June Buchanan is supposedly good, but I havent seen them.
