    Heck of a season for Nelson County. They were jacked up all week and left it all on the field tonight.

    The Tigers looked . . . rusty. They looked like a team that had 2 of the last 3 weeks idle, hadn’t really played anyone in 6 weeks, and whose returned-from-broken-collarbone QB hadn’t had any reps in 6 weeks. Three trips inside the 10 where we didn’t put the ball in that purple.

    Still, they did not rise to the hype, put on their hard hats and took care of business. A win is a win is a win, particularly in the playoffs.

    Union visits next week.

    Great year for Nelson.                                                                                                                               Coach Stockdale has really turned things around with that program and the future is bright!!

    Hard not to be impressed with what the staff and kids at Nelson County have accomplished this season.
