Metcalfe County (10-0) plays host to Washington County (3-7) Friday night in Edmonton in the first round of the 2A playoffs. On paper this seems to be a lopsided victory for the Hornets but that's why they play the game and no one should be overlooked in a one game scenario. The two teams share two common opponents: Adair County who Metcalfe beat 23-0 while Washington lost 24-20 and KCD who Metcalfe beat 29-28 while Washington lost 40-21. The Hornets are riding high after an undefeated regular season and I expect them to keep rolling Friday night and win relatively comfortably. Looking forward to the start of the playoffs.
