I know the RPI is far from a quality measurement, but Hancock County was ranked sixth by the RPI in Class 2A headed into tonight's game. Their loss to Todd County Central means the Hornets will miss the playoffs. Definitely an unexpected result.

Even after last night's results Hancock County is still ranked 6th in the RPI ahead of undefeated Metcalfe County, LCA, and Lloyd. Perfect example that the RPI system is imperfect. There still needs to be some tweaking to make it better.
