Central Hardin and Meade County face off in a pivotal matchup that could determine the District 2 champion. Central Hardin comes off of a thrashing of Barren County where it rushed for 317 yards in a 49-6 win. Meade County comes off of an upset win over North Hardin. RB Jacob Lacefield punished North Hardin with a physical run game with 142 yards rushing and 2 TDs. Meade County seems to be better than their 3-4 record would indicate, as they had Bullitt East tied in the second half of their game several weeks ago before Bullitt East scored 2 late TDs to secure the win. This will be an old -fashioned slobber knocker with lots of action between the tackles. Central Hardin might be the best team Meade County has faced all year. I will take CH by 2 TDs in this one.
