Trigg County 49 Warren Central 26

Kelsey Parham rushed for 226 yards. Jerimyah Shearer broke the single-game school, interception record with 3 picks. Also caught 2 TD’s. Jacob Wease threw for over 200 and had 3 Passing TD’s. Warren Central is improved from previous years and will win some more games. A lineman or two away from being dangerous. Trigg plays Murray next week, a big matchup in WKY.

I listened to a good portion of the game, and it was clear that Central was battling, but Trigg was just a cut above them.  The first drive of the second half was the key.  Central trailed 21-14, drove all the way down to the Trigg 1, but turned over on downs after a fumble on the snap on 4th down.  Trigg took the ensuing drive the length of the field to go up 28-14, and as far as I was concerned, that was that.  Clutch stop and drive by Trigg.
