Buckhorn 49 Laurel Hill, FL 40

Featured Replies

This puts Buckhorn in the semi finals of the Walton Sun Blowout at Freeport, FL. They finished 3rd last season. Laurel Hill was 10th in class A of Florida. Zach Gay scored 27. They play St. Paul's, AL tonight at 7 central.

Glad to see Buckhorn is getting things together. They have alot of talent when they play together.

Their main problem was that they are young. Other than Gay, Rice, and Blank the rest didn't see a lot of playing time. They lost 4 seniors and that left a lot of holes. They have the talent and hopefully the confidence now to come back home and make some noise. They play Perry Cent. when they get home.

I believe they play Perry Cent. on Jan. 2nd. That is going to be tough game for the Wildcats after a long trip back from Florida. Hopefully they will come back and play with alot of energy against PCC. I like to see the small schools do well.

It will be tough. Hopefully the name on the other team's chest will bring it out for them. They had PCC where they wanted them last season. It took a great defensive play to win for the Commodores. Could be the start of a good rivalry.

Good to see Buckhorn is back on the right track.
