Why didn't Scotty play the other night against Henderson. I remember last year against our JV team he had 8 dunks. Very talented young man. Rumor has it there was 3 NBA scouts (Knicks, Nets, and Bucks) and also Oak Hill Academy and Montrose Christian Academy was at Colonel gym for the game but left as soon as they found out that he wasn't going to play.

He was benched by Coach Keller for coach/player reasons. UHA was also without another starter when they played Henderson the other night. Can't remember which one but with Hopson getting benched and another starter having the flu UHA was without 2 starters. They have no depth and poor PG play and can't do anything consistent against good competition.

You think Oak Hill for Hopson ???

It was important to get the team's attention in December rather than in late February. The team has yet to play at full strength with all the starters in place and healthy. We will see how they respond to this. Benching Hopson made a very strong statement to the team as far as attitude tolerance goes.

I understand Hopson has a little issue with a strong influence from a certain AAU coach out that way. Seems this is a big part of the problem and hopefully something can be done to help the kid out.
