Owsley County suffered a little bit of a let down game after their win agianst Powell. This game was held at Wolfe County during the Whitaker Bank Classic.

Owlsey County couldnt seem to get much offense going and struggled on the defensive end. Owsley is still trying to adjust to the absense of Teri and Sheri Gilbert who are expected back at any time. South Floyd is a young team that shoots the ball well. They play hard and rebound exceptionally well with their center Dean. South Floyd is a young team that you will be hearing about in a couple years.

Good win for the lady Owls no matter how sloppy it seemed. The lady Owls record is now at 6 -2 and they play Jackson City tommorrow at 3 o'clock at Wolfe County.

South Floyd will be playing Wolfe County tommorrow night.

I was at the game and it was a little sloppy. It was definately an offensive game. Owsley led throughout the whole game. I was very impressed with the play of Thacker by the Owls. Shes a works hard and earns everything she gets on the court. The young players coming off the bench in the absence of the Gilberts played tremendously well to. Congrats to the Owls with their 6-2 record.:dancingpa

Way to go Lady Owls. Keep it going.
