BrosefStalin
Final. Junior ace Brett Holladay pitched five innings of two hit baseball, allowing only one walk, and one run en route to his first win of the 2021 season. Holladay gave up back to back singles to Scott outfielders Nick Brown and Grant Profitt to lead off the game, but then settled down and retired the next 14 batters. Fantastic season opening performance by the junior righty who continues right where he left off after his magnificent freshman season in 2019. Junior infielder Jackson Roseburrough went 3-3, Including a double, to lead the Tigers at the plate. Junior first baseman Tanner Jackson and sophomore right fielder Torin O’Shea both added doubles in the win. Also, of note, senior reliever/submariner Colin Dille pitched a perfect sixth inning against the top of the Eagle lineup.
ImJustHere
Solid win by the Tigers. Not much more you could ask for in the first game of the season. Best of luck to both teams!
