Buckhorn vs Breathitt 12/19 Predictions?

Should be a good game in Wildcat land tonight, what's everyone think? The Horn always plays better at home.

I think Buckhorn will want to let everyone see that the Shelby Valley game was no indication of what kind of team they have. Buckhorn by 6. This will be a great game to watch.

No matter how bad a team Buckhorn sometimes has, and they've had some bad ones, they're never easy to beat at home. Considering Buckhorn has a decent squad this year, I think the Bobcats will have their hands full. I'm assuming a good atmosphere for the home team and a zone of some sort (the Bobcats cannot shoot) will keep this one real tight.

 

Sounds like I think Buckhorn should win, huh? Not so fast my friend. I think Breathitt pulls it out. I believe better talent squeaks by in this one.

The key for Buckhorn's success is how they handle the pressure. There was a lot of dribbling against SV the other night. I think Coach Noble will have that straightened out though. Will 97.3 have this game on the radio?

I would guess that 97.3 would bring this game. Jackson City is off. I think the Riverside game was on there last night, and somebody said Breathitt's girls team was in Florida. That should pretty much eliminate all other competition from the air waves.

Good. I don't think I will be able to make it to the game so I would like to listen to it. I really like how that radio station follows ALL teams from BReathitt Co.

I would have to agree 97.3 does a great job covering EVERYONE in the county, not just a select team. The fans for all schools really appreciate the work they do for these schools.

I would like to see Breathitt win, but Buckhorn has a quality team this year. They are probably better than they have shown thus far. Breathitt has talent, but I heard that they lost one of their starting forwards. I believe the starting quarterback, Colby Fugate, quit to get stronger for football, at least that is what I have been told. If this is true, they don't have as much depth at this position, so I will go with Buckhorn by 5.

This is Buckhorn's first game against a region team. They have played a tough schedule to this point.

It doesn't get any easier either. After the Breathitt game they will go out west to play in a tournament at Murray H.S. and then on to Florida only to come back and play Perry Central.
