Lexington Christian Academy 57 Bryan Station 52

Recommended Posts

Probably considered a slight upset, patience and focus get LCA the “W” over the Bryan Station Defenders.

Coming off recents defeats at the hands of Frederick Douglas, both teams were looking to rebound and establish themselves over the other within the highly competitive 11th Region.

Bryan Station struck first controlling the situation ending the first quarter up 14-7.

The 2nd period saw an unrattled poised LCA Eagles come into form with patience and focus to get things all knotted up at 21 all going into halftime.

The 3rd quarter was all nip and tuck with both teams staying even with LCA hitting a shot at the buzzer making it 40-38 to end the quarter.

The Ealges stayed true with their game plan and began to edge away from the Defenders going up by as much as 9 with about 3 minutes to go giving them the liberty to kill a little clock, but Bryan Station wasn’t going to go away and managed to chop that lead back to 4 with about a minute to play. They had multiple chances to cut it to a one possession game but couldn’t connect on their shots, and LCA came away victorious 57-52
