I see JBS/Hazard in one semi-final and Shelby Valley/Bell in the other. Should be two great games. Who ever controls the tempo in the JBS/Hazard game will come out on top, if Hicks shoots JBS out of there tough zone defense like he is capable of it could be a long night for the Crusaders. But if he is not shooting well, Hazard could take a big loss in this one, because as Hicks goes, Hazard goes! Shelby Valley/Bell will be a great run and gun match up, they could reach 90 pts each. Would love to see this game, I think Valley would come out on top! JBS over Valley in the finals because they get them in the slow down game like they did Mason County. If they can't run, they are not the same team.

My bad, I will still have to go with JBS/Hazard and then Pcc/Bell in the other semi. Didn't pay attention to the brackets, Shelby Valley will give Hazard a great game and could possibly take the win, should be a great tourney. Would love to see JBS/Hazard have another game like the Regional tourney last year. Bell will take care of PCC in their own gym, they are struggling to find themselves right now.

Shelby Valley is the best team

June Buchanan should be the favorite coming in, but I really am intrigued by Shelby Valley. Valley after the win tonight is the only undefeated team left in the state of Kentucky (via Lexington-Herald Leader), so its hard to count out someone like that. Should be a great matchup if these two were to meet up, but I think JBS has to be the overall favorite. Pikeville and Hazard could also make some noise, I look for it to be a great tournament, as it is year in year out.

1. IMO JBS has the most talent if they play team ball.

2. Shelby Valley is undefeated and has alot of young talent. They could very

easily win this if the young kids can play in this kind of atmosphere.

3. Hazard is very good with probably the best player in the tourney in Hicks

and they will do as good as he does.

4. Perry Central is playing on their home floor and have talent and a great

coach.

The rest of the teams could get hot and make a run like Harlan did last

year when they beat Paintsville in the first round.
