It was the Joel Iles show tonight in Alexandria for NewCath as he knocked down 6 3’s, and ended the night with 26 as the Breds kept basically a 10 point lead the whole game with the final score NewCath 60 Brossart 50.

Iles definitely the difference-maker in this one. 

Mustangs, with five of our top eight players out, didn't back down from the Breds.  Brossart cut it to 49-41 with 2:11 to play in the game.  Senior Stephen Verst notched a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.  Sophomores accounted for 24 of our 40 points on the night.  We hope to get a few players back in the coming week, which will improve our capability of competing at a high level moving forward.

NCC won the contentious JV game 40-36.  NCC Freshman Caleb Eaglin led all scorers with 14 points.  Sophomore Evan Orth paced the Mustangs with 11.
