Cooper 57 Holmes 56

Recommended Posts

Riding their momentum of their triple overtime win over Grant County on Wednesday night, the Cooper Jaguars strolled into Covington tonight as the visiting team to the Holmes Bulldogs, and just barely snuck out with a 1 point victory, 57-56.

In a game that got away from Holmes fairly early with the Jags taking a 15 point lead into halftime, things didn’t look any better for the Bulldogs in the 2nd half who just couldn’t manage to find the basket, but still made a 4th quarter surge to chip away at the gap, but just a little to late as Quantez Calloway nailed a 3 at the last second to give us the final score.

Gavin Rabe for the Jags had a big night with somewhere in the neighborhood of 25 points, 15 over his average.
