South Oldham entertains Trimble County in Crestwood on Tuesday, 1/26.

The Dragons have won three in a row since their opening day loss to Oldham County and face former District 29 rival Trimble County.    South had easily their most impressive outing of the season so far in an 81-55 rout of Henry County on the Wildcats' home court on Saturday, with junior forward Ben Michel leading the way with 22 points (including four threes).    South has really gotten the perimeter game going; the Dragons have made at least 9 threes in all four of their games, including 15 against Henry.    They have 44 makes now in 4 games.

Trimble is just 1-6 on the season so far, but Marcus Mumphrey's second Raider team is coming off a strong performance against Woodford County (a 77-70 loss) and a 15 point win over Eminence.   Sophomore J.T. Wilcoxson has been hot of late for the Raiders, with 21 points against Eminence and an impressive 33 point game against North Oldham (14 of 17 from the floor).    Wilcoxson is averaging a team-high 14.8 ppg.   Meanwhile, Dylan Jennings has gotten his game going after a slow start to the season, and is number two on the team in scoring at 12.3 ppg.   Both players are hitting 50% of their shots from the floor.
