Pirates take care of business as Isaac Dixon starts his Mr. Football candidacy with an impressive showing.

Both teams had some ragged moments. Belfry missed all five XP attempts and their Kicking and Kick Coverage game was questionable at best. Pirates also left points off the board after a key penalty inside the 10 was too much to overcome with Dixon cramping.

Pulaski sustained some success on offense, but dropped passes including a sure TD and a 4th Don conversion opportunity killed them. Their Junior QB Polston was solid with his arm and feet. Pulaski struggled once he was lost with an injury last year and he is gamer.

Belfry finishes with 388 rushing, 11 passing, 399 Total Yards

 

137 rushing, 22/31 142 yards... Polstton accounting for the vats majority of those rush yards.

One huge storyline in a pretty "blah" 2nd Half was Belfry stud MLB Seth Mounts leaving the game with some type of arm injury after laying a big hit. Mounts is a huge part of the Pirate D and would be a massive loss going into the Pikeville game.
