Giants 27 Panthers 13

Recommended Posts

The Giants were struggling themselves, if I'm not mistaken many of you predicted the Panthers to win. Jake Delhomme doesn't play defense...he probably would have thrown just as many INTS as Wienke . Also...Delhomme can't run the ball either. The Giants D shut down Carolina's run game.

The Giants at one point had 3 linemen injured yet they still moved the ball well and scored consistently. Dallas on the other hand got THUMPED at home...they didn't just get beat...they got THUMPED.

Giants still behind 1st place Cowboys in the NFC East

***TE Jeremy Shockey played his 67th career regular season game against Carolina and reached the 300-catch mark in the second fewest games in history for a tight end, behind Pro Football Hall of Famer Kellen Winslow (57). Kansas City's Tony Gonzalez, who caught his 300th pass in his 71st game, is now in third place. ***
