Notre Dame Academy 51 Louisville Assumption 41

In the first home game of the season (3-0) NDA beat (1-1) Louisville Assumption by the score of 51-41. It was a soppy passing effort by the Pandas tonight, but their defense came up big, holding a tough and 11 ranked (by the Courier Journal pre-season poll) Rockets to only 41 points. NDA was lead by Sophomore Casey Jackson with 17 and Junior Katie Tierney contributed 11. Up next for the Pandas is Cincinnati Seton on Saturday December 9th at NDA....

Sounds like NDA has a nice team this year, beating the #1 team in the 10th by six and following that up with a win versus a solid Assumption team.

Assumption stumbles at Notre Dame

Assumption forced 28 turnovers but still fell 51-41 on the road to Notre Dame last night in high school girls' basketball.
