The Lady Colonels of Oldham County (3-2) host the Anderson County Lady Bearcats (3-1) in Buckner, KY tonight.

The two teams split two games last year, with Oldham County winning the regular season game, 51-47, and Anderson returning the favor in the 8th region semi-finals, 68-60.

Oldham is a lot different team this year, focusing more on its inside game with Lakynn Goldsmith, Aliyah Swanson, and Reagan Cheatham. Senior Maddie Clark, however, is a familiar face at the top of the Oldham statistics; Clark leads the Lady Colonels in scoring at 15.8 ppg. She scored 29 points last Friday against Trimble County, eclipsing the 1,000 point mark for her career.

Clark is supported by sharpshooting Kayley Batts, who averages 7.6 ppg. Batts has hit 7 of 14 threes for 50% so far this season... Lakynn Goldsmith averages 7.2 ppg and a team-high 6.2 rebounds.

Anderson County hasn't posted stats.

The Lady Bearcats are again a young team. There are 2 seniors and 3 juniors on the roster - along with six sophomores, one 8th grader, and one 7th grader.

Anderson lost a 60-58 heartbreaker to Sacred Heart to open the season, but hasn't been really challenged since, winning three straight by an average of 31 points.

Oldham County also won three games against overmatched opponents. The Lady Colonels fell to Assumption and to Covington Holy Cross.

Tonight's game will be covered by Pegasus Sports, with live video coverage beginning at 7 pm ET on The Pegasus Sports Network - PSN
