Colonels_Wear_Blue
Waynee McGowan was hired as the interim head coach in August following the unexpected death of Coach David Barnes. From the sound of things, McGowan is not interested to retain the head coaching position, and Caldwell County has officially listed the job. I'm unsure as to whether or not Coach Barnes' son, current offensive coordinator Will Barnes is interested in the job, but it would appear that if he is, he will be interviewing the same as anyone else. DreamKiller
Off the current staff, I would figure Will Barnes and Jeff Riley will apply. Waynee McGowan should be commended on the job he did this year under some terrible circumstances. IMHO, if he wanted to keep the job, it should be his. Will Barnes has some great offensive ideas and Waynee McGowan and Jeff Riley have done a fine job with the defense. If the position is filled from outside the program, I could see a lot of candidates applying. Go Tigers!
rocketsforlife
Any of these 3 men would do an outstanding job for the Tigers!
DreamKiller
I forgot all about Aaron McClung. He would be good too, but may not be interested in the job.
