The games on Thursday look to be on the wet side. Temperatures will range from the low 50s in southeast Kentucky to the high 30s to low 40s across the rest of the state. Those in NKY area could see some freezing rain/snow before the precipitation ends. For now up to an inch of snow accumulation maybe possible.

 

 

 

The games on Friday look to be dry but cold. Temperatures could range anywhere from the mid-20s to low 30s at the start of the games.

Look for rain to move in from the south-southwest across Kentucky starting Thursday morning. Most of the precipitation should be out of Kentucky by around 8 pm EST. Rain accumulations should be around 1 inch. Heavier amounts will be possible in western Kentucky where upwards of around 1 1/2 inches could be possible. I will update you in the morning. The snow is depended on how fast the cold air moves in.

 

As of this morning, it now seems that the rain field will move out of Kentucky before the cold temperatures move in from the northwest. Even though the NAM is still showing some snow accumulations. As I stated in one of my earlier posts I think the NAM is overdoing it. Temperatures this evening will be in the mid-30s across most of the state of Kentucky. As the cold air mass moves in later tonight temps will fall into the mid-20s by Friday morning. I will update later today for Friday's games.

 

 

The temperatures for tonight will start out in the low 30s and will fall to the high 20s around the end of some of the games. The wind chill will be in the high 20s and fall into the low to mid-20s. If anyone plans to attend the games I would dress for the conditions.
