Mustangs roll to a 41-8 win over the Paris Greyhounds in Class 1A, District 5 competition at Blanton Collier Stadium in Paris.

 

Sophomore quarterback Jacob Leicht threw for three touchdowns of 46, 27, and 18 yards to Grant Haubner (2) and Devin Carson.

Junior tailback Trevor Schadler ran for a pair of TDs.

Place kicker Sophomore Andrew Schwartz connected on 5 of 6 PATs

 

Mustangs led 7-0 after a quarter, 34-0 at the half, 41-0 after three, and allowed a late-game Paris touchdown by Matthew Barber and a 2 Point conversion making the final 41-8.

 

With the win, the Mustangs claim the District 5 Number Two seed and will host these same Paris Greyhounds on Friday night November 8th at home.

Omission on my part. Brossart Senior Sam Howard intercepted Paris on their first play from scrimmage and returned it for a touchdown. Schwartz added the PAT.
