Tilghman started slow in the 1st quarter and only led 7-7 after the 1st.

They used a bunch of healthy returning players to score 34 in the 2nd and pull away.

The defense played their best game of the season and the offense moved the ball at will. Great team effort.

The decision to move some two-way guys around and get them some rest payed off in this one.

Damien Ford ended up with over 300 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns. Jayden Freeman scored 4 tds and had some huge plays, not sure on yardage yet. Tim Watkins ended up with 11 tackes and a sack.

Obviously should say tied and not led at the end of the 1st.

Same story as last week for Trigg can’t stop the run and just wore down by mid second quarter. Best receiver and DB #13 Bridges goes out with a shoulder injury early in the 1st quarter really hurt the Wildcats on both sides of the ball. Congratulations to Paducah on a well played game. Trigg needs to get healthy and find a way to stop the run.

They have struggled mightily against the run the past couple seasons now.

Ford had 313 yards on 13 carries.

Freeman had 4 catches for 159 yards.

Trigg have up 398 rushing yards to Tilghman (14.7 yards per carry)

They gave up 313 rushing yards to Murray (10 yards per carry)

Trigg has some defensive issues to fix. They did lose their leading tacker from last year to an ACL in the preseason. Their third leading tackler from last year is playing soccer this year. Their second leading tacker this year is out 2-5 weeks with a knee. They lost their best DB in the first half to Tilghman. Their defense has played bad for two weeks but they also aren't playing with a full deck
