I was at this game until halftime, where Glasgow led 14-6. Larue is a big physical team that wants to pound it behind Shelton and Goode, but they lack team speed and big-play ability, though Belton is a good player. After 1 game, my overall impression is that Glasgow is just a notch down from last year. Mitchell is excellent, Abernathy’s feet caused problems (about a 60 yd. scramble for TD in 2nd quarter), and #11 WR is really quick (but was injured just before half), but they did not have as many big, aggressive players as they had last year. Just my .02.
