From what I saw:

- Pikeville definitely has weapons at the skill spots and their Offense looks very good. Offensive line was holding up pretty well and the Panthers do a really good job spreading the Defense but mixing the run in.

 

- Defensively, Pikeville appears to have regressed a little in their Front 7. Definitely still very solid for a 1A team, but I thought their D-Line and LB's ability to be disruptive was a huge key to their success and so far I don't quite see the ability to dominate.

 

- Bardstown impressed me and looked much better than I was expecting. Good size, good athletes, QB looked solid. They are going to win some games. They shot themselves in the foot and missed some opportunities and their run game needs some work, definitely a team in that 11-15 range in 3A I would say.
