Here's what I will say in regards to NewCath.

 

With Belfry playing them, and consequently playing Pikeville, the past few years. IMHO, there has been a pretty significant gap between the Panthers and Breds in recent years and last year I would have taken Pikeville by 3 TD's in 2018. NewCath's results against Beechwood in recent years also seem to suggest the Breds haven't quite been on the same level as the best teams in 1A.

 

I think NewCath is about to improve under Coach Lickert, but right now I take no issue to seeing them in a tier behind Pikeville and Raceland.
