June 12, 20197 yr The college baseball season has advanced to the final 8 teams in Omaha. In #7 UL's 4 -team bracket are #2 Vandy, #6 Mississippi State and Auburn (3 SEC teams). In the other bracket are #5 Arkansas, Florida State, #8 Texas Tech and Michigan. The opening games are Arkansas v. Florida State, Texas Tech v. Michigan , Vandy v. UL and Mississippi State v. Auburn. The World Series begins on June 15. Good luck to the Cards. BTW, Omaha is about a 13-hour drive from Louisville.
June 12, 20197 yr Over the last few years, the "whistling fan" for Vanderbilt has made watching games involving Vanderbilt absolutely annoying for me to the point I'll turn games off. Sure hope UofL knocks 'em off quickly but it will be a tall order against the number 1 team in Omaha.

June 16, 20197 yr Author The game starts at 2 today and is on ESPN. Vandy is the betting favorite to win the whole shebang and UL is 4th.
