1st Region Championship

TilghmanPride
in KY Baseball (High School)

Featured Replies

Paducah Tilghman will take on the McCracken County Mustangs for the 4th time this season. The game will be Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. at Brooks Stadium in Paducah.

The previous 3 games, Tilghman only gave up 5 runs total and ended up losing all 3 games. Tilghman lost 2-1, 1-0, 2-0. Those games were obviously pitcher dominated.

McCracken will come into this game having won 20 of their last 21 games. McCracken has only lost to one Kentucky team this season. Tilghman has played well down the stretch as well winning 17 of 19.

I think we get another close game with some bats doing more of the talking in this one.

Regardless of who wins this one, Region 1 is sending a worthy competitor. Both of these teams are good enough to make noise on the State level.
